Dr. Anjum began his clinical career as a General Physician, and over the last 21 years has been focused on solutions innovation, governance and change management initiatives, helping set the path towards digital transformation for hospitals and health authorities across USA, Canada, UK, Europe, South Africa, Middle East, Asia Pacific and Latin America.

Dr. Anjum is Global Chief Medical Officer at Agfa HealthCare, and also leads the innovation strategy for Enterprise Imaging and Artificial Intelligence, with the aim of focusing on the needs of healthcare industry, thought leading academic institutes, hospitals, and public health organizations, to help implement value-based care models, improve diagnostic intelligence, and maximize value from health IT investments.

Prior to joining Agfa HealthCare, Dr. Anjum worked at GE Healthcare for 12 years implementing clinical and imaging IT solutions globally.

Dr. Anjum speaks at global thought leadership events, and his white papers on value-based care and evidence-based use of AI in healthcare have been published by leading societies, including HIMSS Europe. Dr. Anjum was recently interviewed by Financial Times London in recognition of his global expertise on the intersection of innovative technologies and disruptive healthcare models.

Besides MBBS, MBA, MIS and ITIL certifications, Dr. Anjum has completed the International Physician Leadership Development Program from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health – Boston USA.
